Happy Anniversary!

This past Saturday we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary with a "staycation". Mom-oh was so kind as to watch the girls while we spent two nights at the Four Seasons. We enjoyed spa treatments, fine dining and an Elton John concert. No matter how great the adult time was we did really miss the girls and were glad to come home to them. As I'm always telling Quinn, "home is the best place."

Happy Easter!

The girls went to bed last night very eager to wake up to see what the Easter Bunny had left them. They got two gorgeous baskets filled with practical yet cute items like socks, flip flops, snack caddies, and one chocolate bunny each. They also got to hunt for eggs in our living room since it was quite muggy and drizzling outside. Then, we went with our friends, the Candelaria's to Jack Allen's Kitchen for a delicious brunch and another egg hunt. Needless to say, the girls had their fill of candy today!

Bacon Babies

The weather was absolutely perfect this past week! We spent a lot of time on the front porch enjoying the yard. I snapped a few photos of the girls enjoying a healthy snack - some bacon. It's one of Quinn's favorite foods these days and one of the few meats she will eat.

Wesley's First Haircut

So Wesley's first haircut is more like a bang trim, but it was her first cut none the less. She enjoyed sitting in the chair like she'd just seen her big sister do. She got her bangs cleared out of her eyes and the sides and back cleaned up just a little bit. Her hair is looking like it's going to be a bit curly. How cute!
